Statement

  • About These Twenty-three Paintings

    As in my other recent work, this group of paintings refers to the last line of
    Psalm 23 by implying floor plans of houses. Never are these "floor plans"
    intended to be literal architectural renderings.

    Artist's oil colors are applied to heavily textured wood panels. After the
    artwork has dried, the floor plan designs are etched into it with a rotary
    tool.
